Howard Parker (Beit Hall, South Kensington, London, August 2010): A very comfortable, relaxing and peaceful stay. Also very convenient for attending the Proms next door at the Royal Albert Hall!! It's a shame this accommodation is not available all year round.
Daniel Hough (Alexander Fleming House, Hoxton, London, August 2010): The doors are very loud when they close, even when being careful - maybe put some padding things in? Otherwise great, and the staff are excellent, very helpful and really friendly.
Christian Brockmeier (William Goodenough House, Bloomsbury, London, August 2010): Treatment at reception quite formal and stiff, but all in all very correct as well. As external short time customer one has to deal with quite an amount of leery looks. The value for money is excellent and I am very thankful for this opportunity to stay in beautiful London at an affordable price.
Nick Shaw (Princes Gardens, South Kensington, London, August 2010): Boh myself and my father had a fantastic stay, everything was perfect. We won't hesitate to book with you again next time we come to London. Thank-you for everything!
Alberto Castro (Princes Gardens, South Kensington, London, August 2010): Cleaning the room (at least the bathroom) should be more frequently.
YU WANG (Astor College, Fitzrovia, London, August 2010): Astor College has a good location and my room is generally fine.
Gazzola Eve (Princes Gardens, South Kensington, London, August 2010): The room was very clean, even cleaner than some beds&breakfast I've been before. Nice discovery, I'll recommend.
TREVOR JOSEPH REBELLO (Sir Christopher France House, Mile End, London, August 2010): I stayed between 18th - 23rd Aug 2010. The rooms get too hot in summer, there appears to be no other source of ventilation. A fan may help----think about it.
I would definitely come again & have already recommended you to all my friends.
Antonio Martín del Puerto (James Lighthill House, Finsbury, London, August 2010): It was clean and tidy. The room was comfortable and quiet. Reception very useful and helpful when dealing with my enquiries.
Pedro Pacheco (Sir Christopher France House, Mile End, London, August 2010): The relation price/quality was very good, as well as the localization.
Pat Horn (Princes Gardens, South Kensington, London, August 2010): Really pleased to have found this wonderful accomodation so central
to the Royal Albert Hall, museums, etc.
It cannot be faulted.
Antonio BRUNO (Goldsmid House, Victoria, London, August 2010): I've been in this college two weeks in summer time. I find it very comfortable for its position in the zone1, at only 250mt from the Victoria Station and the tube, and with the Gatwick Airport at only 30minutes by train. The room was clean and bed too. The staff is available with the customers. The standard of the rooms isn't too high but without excessive claims may be a good solution.
Denise Barnhurst (Harrow Hall, Harrow, London, August 2010): Impressed with the clean modern accommodation. Very convenient to the tube and to our relatives who live locally. What we like the MOST, what we look for wherever we stay is good fast internet connection. What a bonus that you provide it and it's free. We really appreciate that. Thank you.
paola edvige piras (Goldsmid House, Victoria, London, August 2010): ottima posizione, personale gentilissimo, camera e bagno molto puliti. stabile silenzioso. consigliato
Mary Byrne (Beit Hall, South Kensington, London, August 2010): Great location with easy travel access. Very enjoyable stay. Thank you.
Risa Kojima (James Lighthill House, Finsbury, London, August 2010): The room I was given firstly was very dirty with a bag full of rubbish, dirty dishes & messy bed - so it was more than obvious that the room had not been clearned after the last guest. I reported about this to the security officer (as I checked in late evening), then he immediately checked the room, gave me another room and promised to report this to the manager. He was very efficient and his apology for the mess was very sincere. A duty officer at the reception also made a very sincere apology for what had ppened to me when I checked out next morning and promised things like this will never happen. So despite the initial confusion, my stay at James Lighthill House was rather pleasant one. It was definitely far better experience than my stay at Thistle Euston where I had to pay far more for a room with broken shower but the hotel employees kept on making silly excuses.
Jonathan Heywood (Goldsmid House, Victoria, London, August 2010): Excellent budget accommodation. My second stay here & I'd happily stay again. Good etiquette by other users - no late night noise at all.
MARTA SALESE (Marylebone Hall, Marylebone, London, August 2010): I had a spotless en-suite room in the heart of London at a good rate. I am very pleased and hope of using this accomodation again.
Geoffrey McNab (Beit Hall, South Kensington, London, August 2010): The welcome was warm and welcoming. Room 147 was an excellent size with a splendid view across the rear flight of steps down from the Albert Hall which, on balance, I preferred to one facing into Beit quadrangle. I was impressed with the firmness of the mattresses, bearing in mind it was student accommodation. The bathroom was small but perfectly adequate with a surprisingly strong shower. One minor matter of housekeeping for you - the toilet roll holder is coming away from the wall owing to wear and tear, not that this was a problem for us in any way. The walk from Beit House to the breakfast building was much shorter than I expected. The breakfast was substantial and very pleasant, especially as we managed to get a table for two by the window. All in all it was an enjoyable and highly satisfactory visit. I shall be recommending not only to my colleagues (Queen's University, Belfast) but also to adult students who attend my 'Travel Talk' series of lectures. This is a twice a year course I run teaching older people (in the Lifelong Learning section) how to use the Internet for their travels! I left in the firm belief Rom 147 had been EXCELLENT value for money. I will be back!
Heather Watkins (Astor College, Fitzrovia, London, August 2010): my sister and I had the time of our lives in london and it will be a trip that either one of us will never forget. astor college will be a place that i will recommended friends to stay b/c it is like in the middle of everything and once getting used to the tube it was smooth sailing after that to travel around london. thanks for everything and see you in a year
Chris Coutts (Schafer House, Euston, London, August 2010): Staff was exceptionally helpful.
Sharon Lewandowski (Beaumont Court, Mile End, London, August 2010): Staff very helpful, standard of rooms high. En suite choice excellent. Generous breakfasts. Good location--in London zone 2, but worth it--still easy access to West End, and perfect for East End. Grocery stores near by, and good kitchen facility. Overall, exactly what we needed.
Estelle Wishart (Beit Hall, South Kensington, London, August 2010): most convenient. Clean and warm room. Super value. Very helpful and pleasant reception staff
Enrique Jose Lloris Maeso (Astor College, Fitzrovia, London, August 2010): I love your place.
William A Hunter (Princes Gardens, South Kensington, London, August 2010): We went as a family group of 4 and thoroughly enjoyed our first Princes' Gdns experience. We are likely to be back
Thanks to all
Elisabeth Obernberger (Goldsmid House, Victoria, London, August 2010): Had a nice stay at Goldsmid house, which is conveniently situated next to victoria station.
Chris White (Schafer House, Euston, London, August 2010): Great price, great facilities, all you could wish for in central London.
Margaret Verdon (Beaumont Court, Mile End, London, August 2010): The campas was very modern, clean and asthetically pleasing, located next to the Regent's Canal. The accommodation was excellent value, clean and quiet with fridge, it's own ensuite and use of shared kitchen facilities. Breakfast (choice of cooked, vegetarian or continental) was included and the student restaurant was very good. I would recommend it. My only point would be that the booking form was a little misleading and indicated that we had the option of asking for car parking - which we did - but parking was not actually available at Beaumont Court. I would suggest that the form requests applicants check with the information about the halls and carparking before completing this section as it is easily overlooked.
LUIS VICTOR BAUZIL LÓPEZ (Ifor Evans Hall, Camden, London, August 2010): You are very simpatetic with my english, and the Security office and Staff Office help a lot. Thanks, ill come back the next year. Yours
Sue West (Princes Gardens, South Kensington, London, August 2010): Impressed with the helpfulness of the reception staff. So good to have the lounge space in reception, holding luggage etc and available to us all day. This an unexpected bonus!
Soundproofing in bedroom not of the best - heard v clearly next room's arrival at 2 am.
Valerie Gramling (Astor College, Fitzrovia, London, August 2010): Everything was very nice, clean, and comfortable!
James Ozminskyj (Princes Gardens, South Kensington, London, August 2010): Thanks for helping make our trip to London a pleasurable experience. I look forward to staying with you again in future.
One minor issue was that it took a very long time for the water in the room to get hot. Otherwise, great.
Robin Stevens (Princes Gardens, South Kensington, London, August 2010): Housekeeping did not replace my towels on a day I had left them on the floor. Room very comfortable. Loved using the swimming pool. Reception staff were very helpful.
Daniel Lockwood (Beit Hall, South Kensington, London, August 2010): The people at the front desk were very helpful, informative, and kind. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Good deal. Thanks.
Dylan James Mc Laughlin (Goldsmid House, Victoria, London, August 2010): A central location without some of the central London noise. looking at the premier inn across the road made me think I had gotten better facilities for only a fraction of the price.
Brenda Herrick (Seething Wells Hall, Kingston, London, August 2010): I would definitely stay here again as it is so convenient. Comfortable clean room, extremely helpful friendly staff.
Ms Emma D Waites (Goldsmid House, Victoria, London, August 2010): Other guests I was sharing a kitchen with did not always wash up their plates, mugs, etc. I don't think it's fair that their dirty washing-up should fall on the cleaning staff. I would therefore suggest that the cleaning staff/wardens should report guests who are not cleaning up after themselves.
Margaret M Tur (Sir Christopher France House, Mile End, London, August 2010): Would have appreciated a clean shower curtain and possibly a lamp for bedtime reading. However, room was clean and overall excellent value for money.
UDORJI OGOCHUKWU (Astor College, Fitzrovia, London, August 2010): i must say i enjoyed my stay in Astor college residence.it was more thwn my expectation.from the reception to the facilities all are perfect..you guys are doing great jobs just keep it up.
Colin Soskolne (Astor College, Fitzrovia, London, August 2010): the e-mail link was superb - high speed, etc, and free. Really lovely to have it. The only suggestion is that it would be great if you offered to rent out a cable for people who do not travel with cables, expecting WiFi instead.
