How to find us: Rosebery could not be better located for travelling around London. The journey from Victoria Coach Station and St. Pancras International couldn't be easier bringing Europe and beyond within easy reach - an ideal location for travelling!
There are two underground stations nearby. Angel station (Northern line) is five minutes away - follow the signs to Sadler's Wells theatre and then continue along Rosebery Avenue, we're on the left hand side. From Farringdon (Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan lines and Thameslink services) come out of the station's main entrance, turn right and then right again up Farringdon road. When you get to the Fire Station turn right along Rosebery Avenue, we are on the right hand side just before Sadler's Well's theatre.
Several Bus routes pass the front door - the 38 runs from Victoria, the 19 from Battersea and 341 from Waterloo - alight at Finsbury Town Hall and we're just across the road.
From Gatwick: Take Thameslink service from Gatwick to Farringdon (Northbound).
From Heathrow: The cheapest option is to take the Piccadilly Line to Kings Cross St. Pancras. There you change on to the Northern Line to Angel Station. Alternatively you may also take the Heathrow Express to Paddington station, and the use a taxi or the undergound to get to Rosebery.
From Stansted: Take the Stanstead Express to Liverpool Street station, and then take bus 153 to St. John Street (see directions from Angel). You can also take a bus service to Victoria Coach Station and then take bus 38.
From Luton: Take the Thameslink Service to Farringdon.
From City: Take the DLR to Bank, at Bank change onto the Northern Line to Angel.
From Eurostar: take the Northern Line to Angel or it's a 15 minute walk.

Customer feedback
We guarantee that all our feedback is genuine and can only be submitted by people who have booked through our websites.
Mr Ian Burns, April 2012: Nice clean room, easy to book. Was able to leave luggage in a secure room before signing in and return later. friendly staff and a really pleasant area. Over all very enjoyable
Mrs Patricia Suffield, April 2012: Good, clean, comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price
Mr Alan Locke, April 2012: Good breakfast, well placed for public transport to the city, friendly helpful staff.
Ms Mary Law, April 2012: We wanted the management to know how helpful and pleasant the night man was. But all the staff were very friendly and helpful. It might be useful to suggest to people that they could bring something to make a drink in the evening. But a very minor point
Ms Anna Tinline, April 2012: I enjoyed my stay very much - the bed was extremely comfortable. It was a pity the window was so dirty. Clearly someone had spilt something from the floor above. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends if I managed to get an ensuite. Thoroughly enjoyable though, thank you.

Mr carlito reyes, April 2012: the location is excellent. the description printed in the web page is very helpful. it also nice to know that i stayed in a place where people with great minds either studied or taught.
Dr Susan Parson, March 2012: My best friend and I (both in our early 30's and from the USA) were looking for housing in central London that was affordable, clean, safe, close to transportation and private (the last one ruled our some of those bigger hostel rooms). We picked this Rosebery Hall because it seemed to meet all of our criteria based on our internet research. When we actually arrived there and during our 3-night stay, we absolutely found this to be true. In USD, it came out to be just over $30/night per person which beats any hotel and the fact that it included a full breakfast was a bonus (you choose up to 6 items off of a menu of about 12 possibilities plus unlimited toast, tea and juice). We stayed in a single room with 2 beds, which was clean. The bathroom facilities were modern and clean. The Angel tube Station (which is in Central London aka Zone 1) is a 5-10 minute walk away, which is where you'll find a Waitrose, M&S and Sainsburys. We chose to take buses because we felt that's a better (and cheaper) way to see London, so the bus stops (depending on which route) are closer. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and I really don't think we could have beat the value. When we plan our next trip, we would definitely stay here again!!
Mr Richard Parkes, January 2012: Very plesed will use you again. Many thanks to all the team
Miss carla sariol, January 2012: Good located.
Good Service.
Nice environment. Very calm.
i will defenelly reccomend
Mrs Annette Kirby, January 2012: We had originally wanted en-suite but in reality found that sharing toilet/shower facilities was no problem at all. We were impressed with the service and found staff very helpful. The venue in Clerkenwell was perfect for all the sightseeing we wanted to do. It was very quiet at night and we could not hear any traffic noise at all (quite unlike our experience when staying abroad!). The whole experience was way above our expectations and we would certainly book with LSE again. We would have no hesitation in recommending your accommodation to our friends and family.
Mr Reza Zaman, January 2012: For value for money it can not be beaten!
Mr Terry Walsh, December 2011: Building recently refurbished to a high standard. Comfortable
Ms ruth elkan, October 2011: The breakfast was out of this world. A fantastic choice, better than some 'top' hotels. A pleasant dining room and helpful catering staff.
Mr Lawrence Howard, October 2011: Really good value for money and really helpful staff.
