Mrs Jane Freem, September 2011: Comfortable room with adequate facilities. Extremely helpful reception staff. Would definitely book again.
Prof Mariusz Misztal, September 2011: Excellent budget accommodation in the centre of London. Clean and quiet. The reception people extremely helpful
Miss Emma Perkins, September 2011: Easy to book, with no hassel or problems through out my stay. Effiecient check in and out. Good location to attractions and very close to tube staion and supermarket. Rooms basic but ok for the money paid. Not nosiy even with the buliding work couldnt even hear it once inside. Ideal for the independant traveller looking for cheap accomdation in london. I would reccomend and use it again
Mr Anthony Pace, September 2011: an available toaster would have been the cherry on the cake....otherwise it was super!
Miss Anne Krulikowski, August 2011: I knew Schafer from the Victorian Society. I am a teacher and wouldn't be able to travel without staying in dorms, so for me it is wonderful to have this opportunity. The dorm is clean and safe, and the office staff helpful and pleasant. I would book again (and will) and have recommended it to several of my colleagues. Anne Krulikowski
Miss Rahayu Mohd Din, August 2011: The room was very well maintained and the location of the accommodation is excellent.
Miss Amanda Gradisen, August 2011: For the cost of the accommodation (even taking the currency conversion rate into consideration), I thought it was good quality and affordably priced.
It was great that internet access was available.
The staff were very helpful and courteous.
The location of the accommodation was great for me.
Overalll, I had a very positive experience and would not hesitate to recommend the accommodation to my friends.
Ms Farah Anuar, August 2011: Cheap and cheerful. The rooms where nice enough (3 reasonably spacious single-bed bedrooms in a flat, each bedroom needing its own key to open, shower and kitchen shared) and the bed was very comfortable. Staff very friendly, very close to Warren st and Euston underground stations. Would stay there again.
Ms Rachel Bond, July 2011: Really enjoyed my stay with you, wonderful staff and facilities, will come and stay gain. Thank you
Mr owen mccarron, June 2011: very convenient and comfortable
Mr Howard Williams, June 2011: Great value for money. I am not a fussy traveller, all I need is a smile when I book in, a bed, a shower, a toilet and for it to be clean and tidy. It fulfilled my requirements perfectly. Great location although it will be far better when the building across the street is completed.
mary sharpe, September 2010: I wish to praise 3 members of staff in particular for their extraordinary help. The first was the young woman on duty the evening I arrived 16 Sept, then to Domenic who was a big help with the IT problems and especially to Kay who organised a room for me when I thought I might be destitute. I was hugely impressed with such kindly service and will certainly recommend it to others. Many thanks for a splendid stay during a rather stressful time.
WENDY BEASLEY, September 2010: Everyone was statisfied, the staff were very helpful
Sarah Kellett, September 2010: Great value, was my sons Hall of Resinsence at UCl so familair territtory
Yue Cui, September 2010: It is a great place that could be considered for the accommodation when traveling. Service staffs there are very helpful. I think the place owns its advantage also given its location: both of convenient transport access and surprisingly quiet environment.
Chiara Ugolinelli, September 2010: Fantastic location, easy to go everywhere. Cheap, clean , you can even cook!!
Helen Phillips, September 2010: The doors make a noise but otherwise it was quiet by London standards.
Mattress could have been more comfortable. For the price the standard is good.
Fabio Verdicchio, September 2010: Very nice experience, extremely welcoming staff.
Marco Linari, September 2010: People at the reception very helpfull. Really a good experience.
Chris Coutts, August 2010: Staff was exceptionally helpful.
Chris White, August 2010: Great price, great facilities, all you could wish for in central London.
Samantha Hardy, August 2010: Thanks to security who I think must have moved on the very drunk & noisy group from ouside the front door on Friday night - it went quiet a little after 11 and I don't think they would have moved of their own accord so that must have been why!
I was impressed with the level of cleanliness in the room and corridors, the bathroom was fine, but I didn't use the kitchen so I can't comment on that.
Graeme Smith, August 2010: Really can't grumble about the price in central london! QUite noisy at night due to the heavy fire doors banging, but not from outside. More than adequate and cheaper than you would get for anything else.
Melissa Volpi, August 2010: Good value accommodation within walking distance of all major attractions in central London. Highly recommended if you want a basic room in a safe neighbourhood.
Yvonne Allen, August 2010: This accommodation is fine, as long as you constantly remind yourself that it's not a hotel, so things are pretty basic. It was a great location, of course, and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was an enjoyable stay and very economical.
James Brennan, August 2010: Excellent overall, far better than other summer university accommodations in Central London.
Mrs LISA STONEMAN, August 2010: Excellent for ucl hospital - just down the raod which was perfect better than Premier Inn location and 4 times cheaper. Ok you don't get your own shower or a fancy breakfast but at the end of the day you need a bed for the night or week and this place does exactly what it advertises.
dorothy laskowski, July 2010: While I cannot fault the bedrooms, the kitchen appeared not to be cleaned with dirty dishes in the sink and possibly uncollected rubbish as it smelled a bit. Disposable plastic or paper cups would have been helpful in the bedrooms. However, these are minor gripes and would stay again and recommend to others.
Peter Remien, July 2010: The staff was friendly and helpful and the layout of the flat was nice. My only complaint is that the lift was broken.
Steven Morris, July 2010: Exactly as expected. Can't beat the value in central london. Very helpful receprtion staff
egbert sondorp, July 2010: surprisingly quiet - even with window open - highly unusual in London
Emma Quick, July 2010: Will definitely book again on future trips to London. A good experience!
Susan Williams-Jones, July 2010: Good room. I would have preferred an en suite bathroom but coped with the corridor!
Chu Kin Hey, July 2010: Good location and fast service
QUERE RONAN, July 2010: I'm going to Ifor Evans (BandB) after your residence and I think that my overall experience is better with a same price.
Ronan QUERE
Marie Pickart, July 2010: I had a very pleasant stay at Schafer House, Euston. I've particularly noticed and been impressed by how quiet the night was : no noise of road traffic (very rare in London !). Very good and central location (close to St Pancras/KingsX) and very short walking distance from tube stations of Warren Street and Euston Square. The room, very comfortable, and the facilities were perfectly clean and the welcoming at the reception was very friendly and helpfull. And the cold drinks dispenser was more than welcome as the weather was really hot.
About the internet connexion, it's currently written on the website that the customer has to bring his own cable to be able to connect a laptop to the internet socket but actually I had the very nice surprise that this cable is available at the reception, with usefull instructions to get connected correctly. Very great place to stay, very cheap but yet so far more comfortable than many real hotels for the same and even higher price. I'll come again to stay there, that's for sure.
Juan M. Amaya-Castro, July 2010: Thank you for everything. I hope to be able to use your services again in the future!
gordon hutton, July 2010: I think that was the correct room number.
Very good accomodation for london prices, thank you!
Gordon
camille andrea domain, July 2010: very welcoming staff, helpful and kind
as a bonus; they had a luggage room which was unexpected; overall very very pleased with my stay
David Venney, July 2010: I was very pleased with my stay. The staff on your front office were very friendly and helpful. You need a new front doorbell.
The noise from the building work was unavoidable. The room was quite warm and only one of the windows opens.
Jennifer M Barker, July 2010: Nothing spectacular, but nothing horrible either. Good value and had a pleasant night's sleep.
Farogh Usmani, July 2010: brilliant stay.
Mrs A Vincent, July 2010: very clean room, with a spotlessly clean bathroom and kitchen. Overall very pleased, a bargain for central London and I would recommend these rooms to other people.
Alberto Miguel Garcia Sanchez, July 2010: The Silence in the night should be better, because they are people that need to rest in the night.
The staff are very kind and efficient, thanks them.
Heather Brink-Roby, July 2010: The staff were extraordinarily kind and helpful -- thanks!
julie rose clark, July 2010: very loud pub beer garden out the back kept me from a great nights sleep unfortunately. great to have interent access. friendly staff. great to have a kitchen. a bath would have been nice.
Elaine Dockery, July 2010: Customer care excellent. We noted that the kitchen lacked a kettle and the staff responded promptly.
Seija Anttonen, July 2010: Very friendly and helpful staff, nice and quiet room.
A microwave oven in the kitchen would have been a nice add-on.
Thank you!
Mr Andrew J Bent, July 2010: No problems with this place at all, excellent value for money in a superb location. Rooms vey basic but clean and comfortable enough - just bear in mind that this is not a hotel and you'll be finr.
Mrs Kathleen Bullen, July 2010: Fantastic value for money in a central location
Amanda Nokele, June 2010: The staff was very helpful, many thanks to them. The location of the hostel was just perfect. If I have to come to London again I'd book Schafer House and I'll recommend it friends visiting London.
Stephan Stach, June 2010: not much comfort, but in a nice location and for a real good price
Eleanore Coulthard, June 2010: Experience was particularly lovely as a result of the kind people working at Schaefer House. They were a great help and made me feel very comfortable.
Mark Farrant, June 2010: In terms of value for money in London it is a great idea to rent out halls of residance rooms. The staff at the facility were very polite and helpful and the facilities were as expected.
